SoftPro Ankle Foot Orthotic (AFO/Multi Podus Boot)

  • Product Description: In Bed AFO Ankle Foot Orthosis, best described as a Multi Podus boot
  • Product Treats: Ankle contracture, also beneficial for wound care on the heel but only covered for contracture
  • Product Utilization: Treats plantar flexion contracture of the ankle has a non-skid pad for transfers.
  • Sizes: RT/LT/Bilateral small, medium, large, x-large based on measurements of length of foot and ankle circumference
  • Coding: L4396 Static AFO. ICD Code 718.47 Plantar flexion contracture of the ankle
  • Required Documentation: Therapy, Nursing or Physician notes stating the patient has the above diagnosis and requires an AFO for Ankle contracture of minimum 10 degree. Telephone order is required for dispensing and must state AFO for treatment of contracture.

  • Product Treats: Ankle contracture, also beneficial for wound care on the heel but only covered for contracture. Product can be used for very limited gait training.
  • Product Utilization: Treats plantar flexion contracture of the ankle has rocker bottom transfered pad.
  • Sizes: RT/LT/Bilateral small, medium, large, x-large based on measurements of length of foot and ankle circumference
  • Coding: L4396 Static AFO. ICD Code 718.47 Plantar flexion contracture of the ankle.
